Salient features of the project are: Longest BRT Line in Pakistan (54 km); Expected to carry more than 250,000 passenger per day; 28 BRT Stations; 39.5km at-Grade & 14.5 Km elevated. Bahria Town (Pvt.) Limited has submitted an unsolicited proposal to Government of Sindh for financing and operations along this BRT Line. JICA estimated project corridor to have highest passenger demand compared to other BRT / MRT Lines in Karachi.
