Govt. of Sindh decided to improve the national highway (N-5) road connectivity between Karachi and Thatta (49 KM) to a dual carriageway. For this purpose the Works and Services Department in Collaboration with PPP Unit Finance Department launched a project to improve the Karachi-Thatta Highway section to a dual carriageway.
Scope of Services
- Geometric design of roads and ancillary facilities;
- Structural design of bridges and Culverts;
- Design of service buildings and their services;
- Traffic survey, planning and Management;
- Procurement and Georeferencing of Satellite Imagery for planning and design;
- Preparation of BOQ, engineers estimates and contract documents;
- Utilities identification and relocation planning;
- Project construction planning with Linear Planning strategies;
- Construction supervision with QA/QC support;
- Geotechnical and soil investigation works
