Construction of OP-II at Karachi Port was commenced in the year 2003 to replace the 37 years old pier structure. The pier is designed to handle 75,000 DWT Oil tankers.

M/s. China Harbour Engineering Co. was awarded the construction contract for Oil Pier-II. M/s. China Harbour appointed Exponent Engineers to provide design support during the execution of Oil Pier-II. The services provided by Exponent Engineers include:
  • Development of revised drawings and design as per the requirements of the project
  • Development of Concrete Mix Design
