Traffic Impact Assessment Report for Mushaireb Project

The project area lies in Bahri county on Northern bank of Blue Nile, close to its confluence with White Nile and facing Presidential Palace in Central Khartoum. It is bounded by paved main Access road on the North, a minor access road on the west and by Al-Mak-Nimr Bridge on its East and River Nile in South. The areas to the East and west of the site are occupied by low and residential establishments. The area is 3 Km i.e. 15 minute drive from Airport. There are many major land use development projects planned in this portion. The project also had significant population in future, however its impact was needed modeled. The project location lies within the built-up areas of Khartoum therefore its impacts on the city would also have significant.
