Consultancy Services for Detailed Design & Construction Supervision of Interchange at Bahria Town Karachi and Karachi Hyderabad Motorway (M9)

Narrative description of Project:

The interchange is planned, designed and constructed to provide the ingress to and egress from Bahria Town Karachi (BTK) – one of the largest residential complex of Pakistan situated on the under-construction Karachi-Hyderabad M-9 Motorway.

The design and construction of the BTK interchange includes but not limited to the M-9 motorway portion in front of Bahria Town Karachi, underpasses, ramps, slip roads, service roads, diversions, bridges, causeways, toll plazas and services. This interchange is a 08 km long including 03 underpasses, slip roads, access roads, service roads, a bridge and a causeway.

Description of Actual Services provided by your staff within the assignment:

• Detailed Design of Interchange on M-9 Motorway in front of Bahria Town Karachi (underpasses, bridges, causeways and access roads along with storm water drainage design, design of pumping stations and electrification etc.).
• Technical Studies; Topographic Surveys
• Hydrology Design of Roads and Structures; Topographic Surveys
• Procurement Services; Estimation, preparation of contract documents & bid evaluation
• Construction Supervision and Quality Control
