The JICA Mass Transit Master Plan identified 6 BRT & 3 MRT corridors for Karachi. The government is actively pursuing these projects for their implementation under various financing options. The BRT Green Line is a 21 Km long BRT Line to be funded by Government of Pakistan and BRT Orange line is a feeder line for Green Line to be financed by Government of Sindh. The operations of both the lines will be financed under Government of Sindh.

The project is about developing Bus Operations & Business Plan for the BRT Lines and later on supporting government in project procurement under PPP mode.
