City center is a Residential Apartment Project. The project comprises of Basement, + ground + Mezzanine + 13 Storey Reinforced Concrete Structure with shear walls to resist the earthquake forces. The project lies in seismic zone 2B. A three dimensional analysis using advance software such as ETABS & SAFE was used to model the structure and foundation & observe the structural behavior under different load types; following the standards of Building Code of Pakistan for Earthquake factors and wind speed, UBC -97 for analysis of structure, ACI 318-95 for design of the RCC building, using live loads of 100Psf for Parking floors and 40 Psf for residential floors.
