National Highway N70 is one of the trunk road to cross the Pakistan from east to west, and its widening and improvement have been implemented by National Highway Authority (NHA). In this connection, Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) has been providing several financial and engineering assistances to NHA to facilitate the improvement of N70. The objectives of the Service were
To investigate the mode of traffic along with National Highway N70 and its connection road
To confirm the growth rate of traffic volume in comparison with past traffic number

Carry out Roadside 24-hour Traffic count Survey at five (5) locations:

Road between Dera Ismail Khan & Zhob N5O

Road between DG Khan & Multan on Ghazi Ghat Toll Plaza near DG Khan N70

Rojhan Toll Plaza near near Rojhan city N55

Sukkur Toll Plaza near Sukkur city N65

On Bewata Check Post near Fort Manro N70
