Prefeasibility Study of BRT  “Brown” &”Yellow” lines with Implementation Program and Organizational Structure

This study includes BRT transportation and traffic planning and preliminary stage design and estimation of geometrics, traffic management, ridership assessment, ITS & fare collection system, stations planning, operational and fleet management plans etc. This study provided a quick guide for the investors to invest on the two BRT lines ‘Brown’ & ‘Yellow’. These corridors are on the highest priority list of Karachi Mass Transit Cell (KMTC) to be implemented in Karachi in order to initiate mass transit system. This report will also guide in the feasibility stage of the project and for the detailed design of the alignment. BRT Blue Line is the longest BRT Line in Pakistan (54 km); BRT Yellow Line is 26.5-kilometre-long.
