  • Analysis of Existing Traffic Conditions
  • Analysis of Predicted traffic conditions after 5 years
  • Analysis of Traffic conditions after the introduction of the BRT System

Description of Actual Services Provided by Our Staff within the Assignment:

  • Detailed study of on field conditions i.e. road widths, No. of lanes, existing signal timings, Encroachments, on street parking etc.
  • Detailed Traffic Volume Counts on all Junctions of M.A. Jinnah Road, Prince Road and Nishtar Road.
  • Development of microsimulation model on PTV VISSIM of Existing Conditions i.e. Base Case.
  • Calibration of Base Case Model.
  • Microsimulation Analysis of Predicted traffic conditions without introduction of the BRT System.
  • Microsimulation Analysis of Predicted traffic conditions with introduction of the BRT System.
  • Propose Mitigation measures to improve the system.
  • Provide essential recommendations in order to run smooth BRT and mix traffic operations in the area.
