Narrative Description of Project:
Project Rome is a multi-storey building hospital which will be located near NIPA junction in Gulshan e Iqbal. The project comprises of 370 beds, 13 Operation Theaters, Mother & Child department with 13 delivery rooms and 2 OTs, 84 OPD clinics, Oncology center with room for 2 Linear Accelerators and PET-CT, Complete diagnostics with imaging (incl. MRI, 2 CTs, 2 X-rays, fluoroscopy, dexa) and pathology, One academic floor for nursing college. The location of the project is very important as this is already being built in center of the city.
Description of Actual Services Provided by Our Staff within the Assignment:
The services of EE have been hired for the following tasks:
- Trip Generation/Attraction & Distribution:
- Estimation & validation of trips generated / attracted for the project were calculated from the previous studies conducted by the Consultant (SBCA).
- Trip distribution is being carried out based on the actual traffic circulation in the vicinity through the help of traffic surveys conducted on various locations. On site traffic patterns were also being observed to carry out trip distribution.
- Access & Egress Analysis:
- Study traffic circulation around the project roads and intersections.
- Analyze and make recommendations for traffic mitigations required in project analysis zone.
- Parking Requirements:
- Estimation & validation of number of parking stalls required by the project as per Sindh Building Control Authority (SBCA) By-Laws.
- Microsimulation Modeling:
- Development of micro simulation models in the project vicinity to understand how the ‘With Development’ scenario would perform in horizon years once the entire development will be operational with its full traffic.
