Narrative Description of Project:
The proposed project is a mixed land use building on Al Kurnaysh Road comprising of Restaurants, Offices and 40 Out Patient Clinics land uses with an approximate area of 8,500 sq m. Keeping in view extensive projected traffic three basement floors have been dedicated for parking facility for the development along with parking facility on the ground floor. The proposed project site is located in Al Shati District on Al Kurnaysh Road and near to King Abdul Aziz Road.
Description of Actual Services Provided by Our Staff within the Assignment:
The services of Exponent Engineers were hired for the following tasks:
- Trip Generation/Attraction & Distribution:
- Estimation & validation of trips generated / attracted for the project were calculated from Riyadh Trip Generation Manual (RTGM).
- Trip distribution is being carried out based on the actual traffic circulation in the vicinity through the help of traffic surveys conducted on various locations. On site traffic patterns were also being observed to carry out trip distribution.
- Access & Egress Analysis:
- Study traffic circulation around the project roads and intersections.
- Analyze and make recommendations for traffic mitigations required in project analysis zone.
